Terms of Service

Booking & Deposits

A deposit may be required for certain services or parts orders.

Bookings are confirmed once a deposit is received (if applicable).

Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice.

Payments

Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless otherwise arranged.

We accept EFTPOS, credit card, cash, and direct deposit.

Vehicles will not be released until full payment is received.

Warranty on Workmanship

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship.

A 12-month/20,000km warranty applies to most services and installations unless stated otherwise.

Manufacturer warranties apply to all new parts and components installed.

Performance Upgrades & ECU Tuning

Performance modifications may affect factory warranties. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm with their manufacturer.

All tuning is performed using our Mainline Dyno to ensure safe and accurate results.

Protune is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing vehicle faults or poor maintenance.

Customer Supplied Parts

We generally do not install customer-supplied parts unless previously discussed and approved.

No warranty or liability will be accepted for customer-supplied components.

Vehicle Storage & Pickup

Vehicles must be picked up within 24 hours of job completion unless prior arrangements are made.

A daily storage fee may apply for vehicles left longer without notice.

Road Use & Compliance

All performance modifications are installed for off-road or motorsport use unless otherwise specified.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle remains road legal in their state or territory.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate vehicle information and disclose any known issues.

Use of Performance Products

Certain upgrades may be intended for off-road or motorsport use only.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle remains compliant with relevant road laws and emissions standards.

Limitation of Liability

Protune will not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including loss of income, downtime, or other expenses related to vehicle use.

Changes to Terms

Protune reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Customers will be notified of material changes where appropriate.
